I know it has already been talked about but here is more proof

a Richards Houda duo would definitely be solid

Cross Todd Richards off the list

John Shannon @JSportsnet 1m1 minute ago

Todd Richards, thought to be going to Detroit on Blashill's staff, will join Jon Cooper's staff in Tampa. Steve Thomas not returning.

Thought I read on TSN that Sens former head coach Dave Cameron was a possibility.

I don't think he's a bad coach but I definitely wouldn't hire him as a special teams guy...

* The Senators special teams were amongst the NHL’s worst. The power play, which features top defenceman Erik Karlsson, was ranked No. 26 overall at a pathetic 15.8%. The penalty killing, which somehow had 17 shorthanded goals, was ranked No. 29 at 17.8%.

I thought the trap prevented scoring chances, and odd man rushes by the opposition...Maybe I had a few too many drams of bourbon/scotch this past season cause I could've swore the Wings look fairly inept on many nights in their own end of the ice.

You had to have. We were clearly inept on many nights on both ends of the ice.

This doesn't make sense... in one case were hiring new assistants and thus Blas is off the hook.

BUT Cameron as a head coach is at fault and not his assistants...

sorry but that can't cut both ways.
