Tootoo to TwoCity (CHI aka Second City)

Majority of Hawks fans don't like it. Majority of Wings fans liked the Ott signing. I wonder why

anyways Chicago has been making some pretty poor moves this offseason aside from Brian Campbell for 2M. They were an average puck possession team in 2016 (LOL at the old heads who thought their experience meant anything),and they won't be much better in 2017.

Ok, Jordin signed with Chicago.. I just wanted to make the too/to/two joke.

I'm going back to disliking Tootoo now. Stupid Hawks.

Now that's a clever title. :D

When he was with the Devils I wanted him to play with Ruutu"..." Imagine that

Sometimes he did. It was fun listening to it. Our local USHL team has a guy named Roo. I wanted to get him on a line with them. Ruutu to Tootoo to Roo to Ruutu.....

I'm glad Jordin is employed, but I hate that he's with a team that I hate to watch. Maybe he'll accidentally injure Kane and get traded...

Still pisses me off how he was treated here. Was a pointless signing by Holland (who for one rare time actually signed a tough playerto fill a need)because Babcock didn't want him, then he had to be bought out. Communication is a good thing sometimes. Idiots.

I dunno if Tootoo will see much playing time in Chicago though, but at least he's got an NHL contract again.

hmmm... I dislike Ott (prove me wrong, why don'tcha) and am very fond of Tootoo. Hate that he's a Hawk, when I am sure he would have much rather remained a Red Wing. Guy's gotta do what he must if he wants to play.

I read part of his book on the shelf at Barnes and Noble. He doesn't speak too highly of his time in Detroit (can't say I blame him considering what happened) though it seemed more towards Babcock than the team as a whole.

Oh Jordin...
How's that crow tasting, buddy?

Quote

"I had a lot of years there when I'd been through a lot," Tootoo said after the practice Wednesday. "Personally, when you play a team in playoffs you learn to hate them quick, and it's obviously a divisional rival. Nashville and Chicago has always been a heated battle and it finally feels great to be on the right side."

Of course, he then backpedaled on the statement.

Quote

“I think there was a little misinterpretation there,” Tootoo said, per the Tennessean. “I’m at a point in my life where I’m very, very happy and content and grateful for the opportunity to play for the Blackhawks.
