kipwinger 8,524 Report post Posted July 31, 2016 Guys have a tendency to produce more offense under Laviolette than they would otherwise. His system is pretty wide open offensively. I wouldn't expect the same players to perform at the same level under a more defense oriented system.

kliq 3,755 Report post Posted August 2, 2016 What is this "offense" you speak of? If you are not just being sarcastic, he is talking about Laviolette's offensive minded system. They did rank 12th in the league last year. http://www.todaysslapshot.com/nhl-west/nashville-predators/peter-laviolette-brought-offense-first-mindset/
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted August 2, 2016 I was being sarcastic. I'd hoped Jeff Blashill would (at least try to) do for the Wings what Peter Laviolette has done for the Predators or what Mike Sullivan did for the Penguins. Instead, we got...well...you know. Barrie 900 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 I remember people on here freaking out when Holland traded him saying he was our future top line center lol. Me too Jarnkrok had enough time in the organization. It was obvious he wasn't going to make the Wings.
DickieDunn 2,571 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 But he was the top rated prospect on redwingscentral.com that means he'd be at least as good as guys like Corey Emmerton, Jakub Kindl, and Brendan Smith 1 Wings3:16 reacted to this
