With this type of tournament, anything can happen, but I still don't see it happening. In a 7 game series, they wouldn't have much of a chance at all....but any team has the ability to beat any other team in this tournament on a single occasion. Nations such as Canada and Sweden won't make that mistake and has the worlds best personnel to cut them off at the blueline or make them pay heavily for trying to play through mid-ice. kipwinger 8,522 Report post Posted September 19, 2016 As much as I'd love to see Team NA win it, I think they'd get slaughtered by Canada. I actually think they'll get beat by Russia. I was reading an article about the Russia/NA game coming up, and Evgeny Kuztesov made a good point. He said the NA team is only good when they've got the puck and don't play well without it. Russia has a bunch of guys who hold the puck well, and Canada is WAY better than that. Team NA will have a hard time with that IMO. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mrazek better calm down a bit, take it easy, somebody remind him that this is just pre-season hockey. Don't want him to injure himself or pull something making those spectacular saves! Russia continues to look like they have the last few Olympics. Very underwhelming. Ovechkin and Malkin need to play like star players. The defense is what it is.
