Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted September 5, 2016 KFQ is waiting patiently by his phone for that call from Kenny. That is what I'm afraid of! My biggest concern is that we are obviously short of that #1/2 D guy and I can't see Kronner being any better than he has been , his knee issues are not good and may curtail his season early. Even Nik isn't a top guy these days which leaves us with DK as the closest we have to top pairing player. We do have some good D but mostly 4/6 guys, unless Green ups his game we haven't got that offensive threat from the blueline and that is a concern. No one back there that's going to put up 40-50 points for us and that is the concern, there isn't a FA out there that we could invite to a pto, with that potential. Furthermore unless I'm mistaken we don't have that sort of talent within the organisation. Sproul isn't on either the Wings or Griffins roster and Russo maybe to raw to bring up although I'd have him in the lineup. Apart from those 2 it's very thin in the offensive blue line department so unless Kenny has something up his sleeve we have what we have and that is it. I know we signed an 18 year old Hicketts two years ago after being invited and impressing in camp, but I'm not sure if any camp invitee can be signed or are there certain rules and restrictions?
