krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted March 5, 2017 De Haas is really starting to heat up for Clarkson University. He has 28 points (7 goals, 21 assists) in 34 games and 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in his last 3 games. He will likely make the jump to pro next season to play a season or two in Grand Rapids before getting a shot in Detroit. I don't think he will ever be anything more than a bottom 4 stay at home defenseman at the NHL level, but at 6'3", 215 lbs, smooth skater, decent first pass and shot, he could be a nice addition in a year or two... 2 kickazz and barabbas16 reacted to this
