Watched most of this game and I honestly cannot cheer for the Sens.  The style of game they play is garbage, reminds me of the 90s Devils

Reminiscent for sure

Pens played their worst game of the playoffs and still almost won. I don't think Ottawa has a chance.

They have a very good chance.  The Penguins have to run out of gas sometime.  That's why it's so hard to repeat, especially when you have injuries.

BTW, Erik Karlsson was the 7th defenseman chosen in the 2008 draft. You think some teams may be regretting that now?

thats what makes the draft so exciting...15th overall that year and we have a 9 this year.

i read some stat on karlsson in the playoff...apparently he is much better at defense then what i thought...

Ottawa at 5v5 these playoffs:

With Karlsson on ice: 12GF, 6GA
Without Karlsson: 10GF, 18GA

Hey, whatever it takes to beat the Pens. I don't want them getting any closer to taking over the Wings as last team to win back to back Cups. The Sens can get demolished in the Finals for all I care.

Yep. Both teams have played the same amount of games in getting to the third round, but the Pens had a much harder second round than the Sens did. The Sens had a bit more rest too, even if it was a couple days. That factors in. Plus the Pens have played a ton of hockey this season and last. Sens are fresher.

Malkin is about to cry.

After the way he acted at the end of Game 2 with Turris, I'm glad.  Maybe I'm just not paying close enough attention, but Crosby seems a lot more mature now than he was 5 years ago.  Malkin... he's still the same jerk that attacked Z at the end of Game 2 in the 09 Finals.
