Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 With the rumblings of change happening in Av land this off season and various players supposedly being available for trade, should the Avs Capt be of interest to the Wings front office? Or should we be looking for a top C instead? At 24 he could be seen as a solid top 6 player for another 6-8 years.
ChristopherReevesLegs 7,022 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 I mean they wouldn't even trade Quincey to us in 2011. Although that was Sherman. However I highly doubt Sakic of all people wants to send his young captain to Detroit. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this
kipwinger 8,524 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 Nope. He's not a center or a defenseman. And he's not noticeably better than any of our current top six wingers, so he's not even really an upgrade at his own position. This would make ZERO sense. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this
krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 What it would cost to get Landeskog definitely wouldn't be worth it for us. Not to mention the fact that left wing is basically our only area of strength (aside from goaltender).
Keep Your Stick On the Ice 67 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) the Aves trade their underachieving 24-year-old Captain to Detroit for spare parts....In other news, I just traded my entire stock portfolio (fax machine and paper companies) for a million shares each of Amazon and Apple stock Edited May 17, 2017 by Keep Your Stick On the Ice
Jacksoni 418 Report post Posted May 17, 2017 Good player. Could explode, has a high ceiling. Not worth the risk for the probable price.
chaps80 1,591 Report post Posted May 22, 2017 No thanks. Although I'd trade Nielson for him...
