Maybe next year. I think they'll focus on the new experience in the new building instead of taking attention away from the team

But I wished Holland, and Fedorov could've made amends...Yeah - I'll admit to have been pi$$ed off at Feds with what went on back then, but now I honestly hope that sometime down the road the Wings/Ilitch family/Jimmy D/Holland have a night to give Sergei props for what he brought to this franchise. #91 will always be fondly thought of. Holland and Feds are good, I think its Feds and the Illitches that arent.
Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted September 16, 2017 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Holland has tried to get his number retired a few times. The illitchs said no.

Just got back from MI and seeing Kid Rock at the LCA. All I can say is D**N the LCA has won me over and I hate changes in my stadiums. From the moment we walked in attendees were asking how could they help you etc. I NEVER waited line for a beer or for bathroom break. My GF was saying other than 1 hitch where she waited for 2 minutes the woman's bathroom line MOVED QUICKLY. The seats have room where your knees don't smack the person in front of you in the head. They even have CUP HOLDERS in the lower bowl seats which is where we sat section 116 row 11. I am assuming that is standard all the way up to the upper upper seats. I am already looking at calendars and figuring out when I can get back to see a game as I don't think there is going to be a bad seat in the house. Plus we didn't get to see the scoreboard as that was retracted during the concert and the led roof was pretty cool too. 1 LoveMyRedWings56 reacted to this

Sounds great can't wait to check it out myself, I know Tom Wilson said that during concerts the scoreboard would be retracted because the performers don't like it hanging down like that he said it becomes a distraction for them. With that being said, I dont think they will do that night either as for things like that they usually take a nothing game and jack up the prices. Vladiator 116 Report post Posted September 20, 2017 I''m going to the game against the Pens on the 25th. Is it still feasible to park at the Greektown casino and take the people mover to get closer to the LCA? A buddy of mine went to one of the Kid Rock shows and said he paid $35 for parking...Any other suggestions for parking? I always parked on the Cobo roof so I'm in search of a new goto parking destination for the games.

It's within walking distance & it's also free. 1 Vladiator reacted to this
