Say we just miss a playoff spot, but Larkin clearly establishes himself as a top line center, AA and Mantha are legit 20+ goal scorers, Cholo shows 1st pair skill, and Rasmussen looks solid. And we know we've got Zadina, Veleno, Hronek, Saarijarvi, Berggren, McIsaac, and our first rounders from this year's draft coming. Despite the way I probably came off in that Quenneville thread, I'd be ok with talking to him right now. I just don't see it happening right now, because I don't think it makes sense for either side. But, sure, if we go on to have a really respectable season (for a rebuilding team), I might push a little harder for him, and it might be a more attractive situation for him.
