You asked if we'd take the #1 overall in 2019 or the #1 overall in 2020 if it meant picking from 6-10 in the other draft. If I am getting the 2020 1st for sure, I'd trade the 2019 lottery pick in order to get a 2nd 1st round in 2020. I understand that it may be 2nd-31st, but it's still a 1st rounder, and considering that, the other team would probably need to give me players as well. But when comes down to you question, like I said above, I'd choose to pick 6-10 in 2019 and have the #1 in 2020 as opposed to Jack Hughes this year and 6-10 next year. But really, I'd love to have either or, if we were going to get a #1 in 19 or 20 for sure, I think all of us would be ecstatic! Sadly, reality says we'll be drafting 6-10 (or maybe even 16-24) most likely both 19 and 20. But, your question straight up: 6-10 in 2019, #1 in 2020 is my choice. You're just not making any sense to me. Forget the OP. Forget the 1st overall pick. You're saying you would trade our 2019 1st round pick for Vancouver's 2020 1st round pick. Correct? Why would you want to do this? Why would Vancouver want to do this? There would be a huge risk attached to such a trade. Chances are one team would benefit, and the other would lose out. You said you'd trade our 2019 1st for Vancouver's 2020 10th overall, as if that's where they'll automatically be picking. It's not. Anyway, I don't think any competent GM would make that trade...
