They're second to the Blues in 2019. The point is made though. They're one of the worst teams on paper the last few seasons. They have the highest payroll in the NHL during that span. What does that say about Ken Holland? It says he's overpaying players who don't deserve it. He should be fired. Instead, he can resign whenever he wants to. He has immunity at this job from the Ilitches. It's hard to have interest in this team with him still running the show.
