Trudeau has been a dumpster fire. If you don't see it, your blind. He's screwed us on taxes, immigration, cut our freedom of speech, etc. Spends money all over the world to appease the UN while we have veterans in the street. Still plenty for "refugees" though, even though Syria had said it was safe for them to return home last year. They will never leave the gravy train now. Payed off the mainstream media to peddle his bulls*** and Conservative smears, worked with Facebook to shut down groups he considered "far-right", but far-left terrorists like Antifa had nothing shut down. Because Antifa is on the payroll too, or they are at least being bussed and fed when they want to go to a pro-Canada, anti-Trudeau rally that's peaceful. Until they show up and call everyone Nazis and knock cameras around and break stuff, that is. 

I know this forum isn't the place for this, mods. Just a subject that pisses me off.

How bout those Sharks last night? Jones faced nearly 60 shots. And Fleury let in a hell of a stinker shorthanded in 2nd OT. I was watching the game with some Vegas slappies who usually cheer for the Habs or something. When they got that PP, I said watch, SJ wins it shorthanded, just to bug em. When it actually happened, and how it happened, i couldn't stop laughing. I don't think they want me around for Game 7.

Those refs should not be allowed to officiate another game in these playoffs.  Like they do in the World Cup.  Ban them the rest of the tournament.  No way in hell was that a 5 minute major.  To kick Eakin out of the game for that was absurd.  They didn't even call a penalty on the ice.  There was a timeout while Pavelski was being escorted into the locker room.  After the timeout, we find out the refs have assessed a 5 minute major and game misconduct.  

I hate Pavelski's rat face and the same with rat face Couture.  Can't stand either of these players since we played them in 2010 and 2011.  I'll be rooting hard against them the rest of the playoffs, especially since they were gifted a powerplay they didn't deserve.  Yes, give them credit for scoring a bunch of goals, but they should have never received that opportunity.

My first reaction is that it was the worst call I've ever seen in my life (in NHL).  But if I thought about it, perhaps I've seen some other real bad ones, so let's just leave it as one of the worst calls ever.  You could easily make the argument it wasn't even a penalty!  It was more of a push with the stick, just after the draw than an actual cross check.  Is it a penalty?  Yes.  Does that play happen several times during the game and not get called?  Yes.  So, if it was a 2 min penalty, I'd be arguing if I was a Vegas fan simply because of everything else they let go.  For it to be a 5 min major / game misconduct is simply disgusting.

Add to all that.....the call absolutely lost the game for Vegas.  Vegas was leading 3-0 with 10 min to go in the game.  Almost impossible SJ scores 3 goals in the final 10 min without that call.

Doesnt matter. A penalty is a penalty. You cant argue that it isnt always called. If you dont want to be penalized, dont commit the infraction. Simple as that.

Maybe it should have been 2 instead of 5. But, If Eakin didnt do what he did, there wouldnt have been a penalty at all.

I get it, you can make the argument a penalty is a penalty....but it really isn't...which is frustrating.  That's not the point here though.  Your comment "maybe it should have been 2 instead of 5" - can't agree with that, there is no "maybe", there is zero argument for a 5 min major there, zero.  I'm livid about the call and result thereafter....can't imagine how angry I'd be right now if I was a Vegas fan.  I'm tempted to search around the web to find a Vegas fan board and see if people are losing their minds.
