I bet if Fedorov continued to play D he would've been nominated for the Norris Trophy multiple times...But yeah - a unique, and impressive career for Red indeed.

One of the most unique players in history.  Was an incredible defensemen in Detroit.  Then he went to Toronto, switched to center, and helped them win four Cups.  

As others stated, its' great that he got his number retired. 

Been a bad few years for the Red Wings community, losing Howe, Lindsay, and now Kelly.  The latter two only a few months apart.  Who is still alive from their Cup teams in the 50's?

Delveccio is the only one I'm aware of.
