But it's born out of a failed franchise with an amazing logo. Same with the Hurricanes. The problem for the Wings is they run a two color scheme and logo that's rarely been effed with. Heck, if they wanted to get wild and mix up the retro look they could've added a dark purple(the octopus) as an accent color. Not sure how much I would have liked that but it atleast be fun. They could easily work the wing wheel into the top of the D a little better too to increase that look as well.
