Leddy was as big a move as I'd like to see, but nedeljkovic was just a massive power move dick swing by Steve and I'll take it. Looks like teams just don't like getting fleeced by Steve, they're all trading with each other and leaving us out. I certainly hope Helm splits. NHL needs to end that "cheating." Just make the cap be in affect throughout the playoffs. That will end it. Plus it probably would've prevented Tampa from winning back to back. Not obssessed, but if he is similar to a lot of other LHD, maybe he'll choose here because of the Yzerman history. But ya, most importantly I love to see just a LHD, but not just a 7th spot filler, we have them already. I want DD and Staal to be the 6th/7th guys, I'd love to see a D come in and be in our top 4. Just seems like you bring him up specifically in every thread... lol I agree with adding a top 4 defenseman to push DeKeyser / Staal down, but I'm not so sure Koekkoek would be that.
