Lots of talk about the new rowdy Wings.  A famous podcast called them ’Stevie Y’s goon squad’. Other teams have definitely taken notice and tonight could very possibly be a test. Look out for Tkatchuk and Lucic to wanting to find out just how ”goony” this team really is. I guess what I’m saying is; go out there and punch somebody, Givani! Hard. This is your night. This is when you show you can be useful for the Detroit Red Wings.

Calgary suxx. 3-0 Detroit.

HYPE!

If he cant be useful in that way I don't see him as being very useful at all. I think I'd rather have Veleno up here if that is the case.

Absolutely. They are gonna come after Bert and Larkin and he needs to get in their way. Thats the job.

Parros talks about both the boarding on Larkin and his suspension and the midgets hit on Zadina.

Parros is an idiot. The non headbutt was indeed a headbutt. But he says it's not, because the hand was in the way. Doesn't mean the action and intent wasn't there.

Throw Vrana in there and we could have a very fun team to cheer for down the stretch.

If Fabbri keeps up his good play he's as good as gone at the deadline, just in time for Vrana to step in.

I genuinely like a Erne-Ras-Zadina line too. They'd be very solid defensively and could score a bit. Getting Zadina away from top defenders might give him the time he needs to figure out his offensive game too.

I really don't think Fabbri is going anywhere. He is part of this team moving forward. Honestly I think outside of a couple of vets, I don't see Yzerman trading anyone in the 25yo or younger range....at least not from the Detroit roster.

why is no one talking about our new goalie - i'm concerned. anyone else?

While not impressed so far - the entire team in front of him made more turnovers than Pillsbury.

Did Larry Murphy actually get fired?  I feel bad for joking about them not getting a new 4-person desk now...

Next game in Montreal Saturday night...They're known for their hotdogs - Larry loves hotdogs...Coincidence?

He's not helping himself.

First goal was on Nedaljkovic for not controlling a rebound off a soft shot and Zadina for missing his man.

2nd goal was allllll Hronek poop.
