Probably never gonna be some amazing physical force or amazing scoring winger. But he'll be a top6 guy that does those things. Our best w is a mid6w on playoff teams. So bottom6 to mid6 maybe top6 isnt exactly a huge jump imo. And ftr I didnt watch any tape on him prior to this morning. His skill pops imo. Everytime I hear Wings fans talk about him it's "could be a great 2C" IMO he has all the possible trappings of a 1C. He's not uber talented, but he's extremely high tempo. He's not a datsyuk level brainiac, but he is very smart and fearless. This guy just lowers his shoulder and goes. Closest thing to a Seider type we've drafted since Mo. He's not Seider, but he has a MASSIVE reach. He's super awkward right now (elephant on roller skates), but his coverage area with his reach is enormous. He will be a ROCK for this team. You know where I stand on vet vs prospect playing time. Kasper, Edvinssson, Wallinder, Mazur would all have been playing the entire year over Erne, Haag, Osterle, and Luft.
