Not up on my sports injuries/science.

How worried should a person be, long term, about Edvinsson's shoulder?

I dont think we can really know without knowing the specific injury or severity.

Even though he'll probs be back mid october it still sucks bc now hes not gonna have that monster lift and eat summer that he needs.

All our prospects do is sit around and get soft all summer anyways. They don’t even see Detroit as their home.

s*** happens.   The kid wants to murder people with Mo.   He'll get his chance after learning how to build up and protect his shoulder for the future.    Different take for the draft here...https://theathletic.com/4448811/2023/05/01/nhl-draft-prospects-2023-u18-worlds/

s*** always "happens" to the Wings because nobody in management knows how to RUN A F U C K I N G BUSINESS.  All great hockey minds, but they suck at simple common sense business.  This team has zero responsibility, zero effort level, zero commitment, zero camaraderie, zero gains from May to September.  Then everybody wonders why theyre all off to "slow starts" in October.  Horses***.  Until we start hearing stories of top players putting on 8-10 lbs of muscle in the offseason, we will continue to see them suck in October and eventually separarte their shoulders or hurt their backs.  This team has ZERO fortitude as of now.  Softest team in the leagues - as in ANY professional league.

If it's muscle or rotator cuff, More concerned with left shoulder since he is left handed. Also depends on what they mean by "shoulder":

is it bone? (there are 3 involved) ligament? (there are several) joint? (there are 2)

are they talking about the shoulder "blade"? if so that could also involve muscle.

is it a rotator cuff injury?

is it fracture? dislocation? tear? strain?

That description is about as helpful as saying "upper body injury". There are so many variables with the shoulders. More than knees, actually.

Pretty impressive that Mazur made the team. Probs wont live up to being a full Bertuzzi in the end, but close.

The benefit to being a Canadian is then you arent banned from entering as many countries that Americans are. Which is why Americans dont enter, they invade.

That American roster Woof... not much star power there.  That may change with playoff eliminations.

St Petersburg is reportedly trying to lease Buchnelikov to another KHL team. This would be good. Theyre essentially saying hes good enough to play in the KHL but they dont have room for him, so hes more valuable as cash for them right now. He will probably get much more playing time on a new team. He only played 10 KHL games this year.

Gotta take some swangs at high ceiling offense when you have multiple 2nd round picks. But sadly BUCHSZN prob ain't happening in Detroit.

However Cossa had 43/44 saves tonight in a 2-1 second round Toledo playoff win. That's nice

Cossa is doing it right.  Winning at all levels.  Jesper?  Not.

Do we take him if so?  Steve does have a set of brass ones...

Yes.

Imagine in 3-4 years the team starts getting really competitive, and then suddenly adds a superstar scorer to the lineup. It would be like when the Wild got Kaprisov, except the Wings will be a much better, deeper team.
