Probably gets one game, but it's a joke that this gets 5 and a game. Abby got checked head first into the boards last game, on a blatant cheap shot for 2 mins. The inconsistencies in reffing is going to be what does this league in. People say the NBA is bad, but atleast they know how they are calling their games. With the NHL it's really a crapshoot on how the game will be called.

im alright with it. i thought we might be able to beat the ducks with dekeyser. once we lost him i dont think the wings will win another game.
i thought making the playoffs was a good enough accomplishment.

He's played well on the top line (who wouldn't with Pavel and Hank)After the replay, It looks like Abby just cost us a playoff series.
But he's still a 3rd/4th line player. Losing him is not a big deal. Put Bertuzzi on the top line. He has better hands than Abby. This hardly costs us the series.
They only scored one goal, so it shouldn't cost us the game either. If we can't score one goal ourselves, we didn't deserve to win this game anyway.

Even Mike Keenan thinks he should be suspended.
My only regret (besides that it probably costs us the game), is that it wasn't on Selanne's head.
I'd love to see just how strong that "unusual" helmet of his is.
