Unless used jokingly, that spelling's gotta be a cardinal sin on this site. :scared:

Hahaha fail, I tried so hard to not spell it like that I ended up spelling it wrong. I spelled it right on HFboards :)

Anybody notice that there wasn't a single odd man rush all game (maybe a couple 3 on 2's) but no clear cut odd man rushes.

The bruins cared more about hitting then getting up the ice. Hard to have an odd man rush when 3 guys are trying to take Nyquist's head off.

Disagree. Best way is to dodge out of the way of the hits. Get them out of position. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2

They are double and triple teaming on hits. They are more concerned about getting the hit in, rather than getting to the loose puck. Need to take advantage of it.

#2510319 10 former players sue NHL for concussions

Posted by MTU_Huskies963 on 17 April 2014 - 09:47 PM

I hope they win. Maybe then the NHL would take head injuries more seriously. How many times have we seen players give premeditated crosschecks to the head, and get a small slap on the wrist. Hell we've seen a player with concussion history have his helmet removed, and head slammed into the glass. We've even seen it with the helmet still on.  It's time for the NHL to be proactive, and not wait until a career ending concussion happens from one of these actions.

Way to protect your players NHL.... players getting run without the puck, and your officials call nothing.

#2501588 Net off the moorings question

Posted by MTU_Huskies963 on 26 March 2014 - 08:29 AM

Yes it does.  It says exactly those words.

In order to award a goal in this situation, the goal post must have been displaced by the actions a defending player or goalkeeper, the puck must have been shot (or the player must be in the act of shooting) at the goal prior to the goal post being displaced, and it must be determined that the puck would have entered the net between the normal position of the goal posts.

Sorry I was only reading the first part, I stand corrected...good goal :) I don't know what it is about our defenders, and pushing playes into the net/howard, but it feels like it's happening on a daily basis.
