    Why all the trouble in overtime?

    I think that the wings are #1 in the nhl in outscoring the other team in the third peroid of play, yet we always seem to struggle in the overtime period. I am not sure of our overtime record in the regular and post season but if I would have to guess it seem to be below .500. Is it because of our teams age and we get tired quickly (cause I think we have one of the oldest teams in the NHL don't we). Any thoughts on the subject.

    First off I am a new person and this board and I am looking forward to talk wings hockey with all of you. I guess my friend was telling me that the team that has less shots wins 65% of the games in the NHL. Is this true??? or is this another is it a bunch of you know what.
