#2224497 2012 NHL All Star fan ballot released

what format are you referring to? You have to put "old" into some context.

I think he means the one where the game was interesting.

A Murphy soundboard would just be: "Drunken Garbling #1" "Drunken Garbling #2" etc.

Not so.
It would be
"Drunken Garbling #1"
"Drunken Garbling #2"
"Drunken Garbling about beer"
"Drunken Garbling about hot dogs"
"Woo! The fries!"

I was gonna be a bit more serious about it and not vote for Red Wings, but then I saw Crosby on the list despite not playing a single game yet, and remembered the Fitzpatrick issue, and said f*** it, I'm voting all Wings, it's a joke anyways.

Vote for Rory was fun. Maybe we should start a Vote for Jiri.

Or should I start now to get the idea into their heads?

That's tough, but so are pork chops. They're are great, but they tend to dry out. I think it's because they're thinner and leaner than they were when we were kids. Remember when "shake and bake" came out and that was the big, cool thing? You had to trim the fat off of your chop. Nowadays, they come almost fat-less. They don't have that juicy quality they used to. Yes, tough indeed.

Stuffed chops or shake and bake?

Sounds a little like him. I purposely didn't look to see who you thought it was just so I could see if we were on the same page. The letter "s" comes out just like Mickey, and the accent is similar, but it's not quite.

Of course, it could be Mickey in a different mood...

I blame Shoreline. He just used a form of the word "erect" in the same sentence as "Peter Forsberg" with no qualms whatsoever.

The force of these two incompatible thoughts is throwing off the mental magnetism throughout the globe, causing the Wings to miss the net.

This team is lacking veteran presence.

I blame Gordie and Cheli for retiring so young.

Upon further review, I also blame the Lions and Tigers for having winning seasons and using up all of the "win" in the metro area.

I blame Nick Lidstrom. If Howard is to blame for one loss for having one son, Lidstrom must be to blame for the other four.

#2220477 What's up with Zetterberg?

Wouldn't he be on pace for a -36? :ninja:

Yeah. I don't think it will happen as predicted. No way will he play 81 games.

If I may, ladies, I would like to express my true feelings here. I have been restrained to the point of comatose sedation in other areas of the board, but here amongst friends, I feel comfortable sharing the innermost contents of my heart.

KRONNER FOR SEVEN YEARS!!!

f*** YEAH!

Thank you for allowing me to share.

Enjoy your pillow, Pat. You do deserve it for all of the joy you've given us with your tales of camp and for your support of our beloved team.

Me, looking thrilled.

I know I say this to a lot of people, but you don't look anything like your avatar.

#2219816 Huge brawl in the griffs game

<sigh> They're still kids with some learning to do. At this stage in the game, it's the thought and effort that count. Hopefully Downey will do some training with them and teach them the concept of "making contact with the other player's face" when throwing punches.

Still, they showed up, so good on them.

Zetterberg with the quadruple hat trick.

After being 0-0 after the first period, Babs shakes things up by switching Huds and Z. He also casually mentions that there are rumours of Flip being traded to Philly. Z doesn't hear this as he is busy reading people on LGW saying that he needs to be traded to wake the team up.

Flip panics at the thought of leaving and starts batting the puck away from the net so he doesn't accidentally score a goal which would increase Philly's interest in acquiring him.

Z eats up the loose pucks like a hungry, hungry hippo, and scored 12 goals.

Wings win 12-2. JRHIV is blamed for the 2 goals as he was crying last night in the middle of the night, unlike every other baby on the planet, who lets his daddy sleep so he can be rested for his job.

People still can't believe that Koko is an Alternate Captain until they remember he's in Florida.
