#2409213 Another reason why Red Wings fans are awesome.

Posted by kipwinger on Yesterday, 12:30 PM

I was just telling my girlfriend about this and she said, "well it is his mother, he has a right to be pissed".  To which I responded, "well it is the Stanley Cup playoffs".

She sighed and gave in.

I'm fine with it. Europeans enjoy showing emotion, nothing wrong with that. You don't have to be a robot when you play. Now if he did this when his team was down by a lot, then yes, it would be over the top.

Maybe I'm late to the party, but i was talking to my brother tonight and we are confused. Is Brunner pronounced "brooner" or "Brunner" cause everyone seems to be pronouncing it differently when it seems like such an easy name to me to pronounce.

It's pronounced: GOALSCORER

God, I forgot how beast Zetterberg was at scoring goals.

#2312309 Still no decision from Suter. Speculation abounds.

I would love to get Nash but I don't know how we are going to pry him away from the kings ransom that Columbus wants for him. Are we trading away our entire future players?

Columbus had been horribly run, but over the past year the follies have really been scrutinized at a national and public level.  The pressure is really on for their management to do something, which I suspect will lower the Nash price somewhat.  Regardless he will be costly to acquire.

I remember them fighting for their playoff lives and still losing a game in regulation to us.  Who knew?

Hopefully we can congratulate the NYR soon.  Just because I selfishly don't want Parise to make the Finals with the Devils.   :hehe:

I was valedictorian of my eighth grade class.

If that hard-on lasts for more than 4 hours, I believe they reccomend seeking professional treatment. I'm sure your hangover will last longer, though.

Make sure to stop by in a few more years to pat yourself on the back some more. We alway have a shortage of that here.

I'd like to think that Paul MacLean took a lot of what he learned here and applied it to the Sens.

#2234552 Will Malkin get a call from Shanahan?

Posted by MCleveland89 on 09 December 2011 - 06:27 PM

This is really pathetic. He should get a call from Shanny just for Shanny to say "Really bro?"

#2008976 TSN: Discussion of Modano To Wings

Posted by ben_usmc on 02 July 2010 - 12:31 AM

No educated fan will complain. No one is expecting him to go out and be a force. Talent and hands don't just disappear, and while his legs may show his age, there is no reason to think he won't be able to produce on the 2nd powerplay unit, as well as be an effective third line center.  His linemates last year were not top-6 players by any stretch of the imagination, so assuming he could duplicate another .5 ppg season at this age is not unquestionable at all.

When you factor in the intangibles, and mentorship of some our younger players, he would be the perfect fit if we make an addition at all. Better be one year however.

Who the f*** is Modano going to mentor on this team?

Signing him is not what this team needs, so I hope Kenny passes

You really like to dig yourself in a hole deeper and deeper apparently...

Have fun with that...

Just a forum, no biggie.

Not like I'm losing any sleep over it
