That was more entertaining than that fiasco of a game against the Blues.

Does anyone think Franzen's having any fun?

#2338050 Team Roll Call.

Posted by Hockeymom1960 on 06 January 2013 - 09:22 PM

I really had high hopes that this thread would be the OP calling out Red Wings names as if he was taking roll in school, and other posters would respond as if they were the Red Wings.... and nobody would respond when OP calls Franzen's name.

lol ok all I could picture was Ferris Buehler's Day Off.

Datsyuk

Zetterberg

Franzen.....Franzen.....Franzen

#2337836 NHL, NHLPA reach tentative agreement on new CBA

I hope to see 1/2 empty arenas for a while.

#2337829 Canadian hockey fans - they mad!

If I recall correctly, wasn't the goals scored in that game by NCAA players?

#2337225 Holland booed off Ford Field

Posted by Hockeymom1960 on 01 January 2013 - 01:56 PM

Lions fans have truly lost it, they're almost like those sad sack Cubs fans who have somehow convinced themselves that there's something noble in losing all the time.  I can't imagine the kind of nerve it takes to boo a successful executive from another team in your same city.  What martyrs they must all feel like.

I'm sure it's just frustration and that Kenny just represents to them the lockout.

Lions fans don't recognize a competent GM when they see one, thanks to the Millen-ium of Failure.

The Lions only option is to get rid of it's owner.

#2333147 Datsyuk having fun in KHL while dominating, but misses Detroit.

Trust me, we miss you too Pasha :(

And now on a more serious note.....

#2332145 NHL Fan Lockout Pledge

Posted by Hockeymom1960 on 18 October 2012 - 05:41 PM

Yup. Also, its pointless empty speak. We are all going to be right back watching and supporting the NHL after this is all over. Both the players and NHL know this.

Maybe so, but why run right back...fans should just hold off as long as they can when the season starts (or if it starts this season). Would like to see half empty arenas starting out.

#2331483 Sacrifice the full season to guarantee Bettman's removal?

Oh at first I thought it said sacrifice Bettman to save the season :sly:

Going to make a couple of trips to see the Griffs. Hoping to see Petr Mrzak have a chance in goal.

#2325611 2012 Lockout Watch

If there is a lockout, start supporting your local high school teams, OHL teams, USHL teams, etc. I'm a big Saginaw Spirit fan and that just means I have more money to spend on attending those games.

#2314679 Zach Parise agrees to 13-year, $98-mil deal with Wild

They both are going to make $196 million. That's more than Leipold sold the Predators in 2007 for $193 million.
