They're growing on me, wasn't a big fan at first. I think the logo would be better as a secondary but its not terrible either. I do wish there was "Winnepeg" or "Winnepeg Jets" somehow scripted into the blue circle part.

The baby blue is curious. If anyone that knows how has a few seconds, could they change the baby blue the leaf red?


Why would they put Winnepeg anywhere on the jersey?

The MTS Center now has the distinction of being the smallest NHL arena.


Thats already sold out for 5 years with an 8000 person waiting list that was capped. Oh ya, the people on the waiting list are paying $50 a year to be on it.

Anything other than Jets=fail on their part IMO


Heard from multiple people in Winnipeg that the name will be released at the draft (possibly during the 7th overall pick) and it will be the Jets.

TNSE hosting draft party at MTS Centre. I highly doubt they announce the name with all eyes on the draft and not have it be the Jets.

As to who said the Coyotes - there is ZERO chance of this, as long as they're still in Phoenix, they will be the Coyotes. They got a good name, logo and marketing backbone (howling at goals, mascot, etc)... they're just in a horrible spot for hockey, so, unless we're talking relocation again, take them out of the equation.


Problem is they don't even play in Phoenix, they play in Glendale. I know if the sale went through, they would have been the Glendale Coyotes. Maybe they want something completely new.

The Coyotes name has been through the ringer the past couple years and the franchise is not respected.

Coyotes. They dont play in Phoenix and there is so much bad press about them.

That is if they are still there in a few years.
