he is a lawyer. these species can tolerate humiliation hundred times worse than those boo's when their single paycheck read six-digit number.
That's all bulls***, and your whole knowledge of lawyers has been shaped by TV and fantasy.
Most lawyers coming out of law school nowadays don't make more than $50,000 a year. Actually, most recent grads don't even have jobs. The only ones making 6 figures are those who have great connections and work 60 hours a week.
I should know all this, since I'm one myself and haven't made these six-figures you speak of. At this point, Bettman is as much a lawyer as I am a Blade Runner.
It's great what Canuck fans are doing, sticking around, cheering their team, cheering Thomas, chanting: "Go Nuck Go" and "Stanley Cup, Stanley Cup". I remember in 2009 when Joe Louis was mostly empty while Pens celebrated.
That means we have higher expectations than these losers.
Besides, they've never seen the Cup before in their building.
I'm trying to figure out why Boston plays one way at home and the total opposite in Vancouver. Is it perhaps the time change? Being in the West, the Canucks are used to going in and out of time zones (like the Wings do) whereas the Bruins play all their games in the East and only go out west once or twice a season. Does this explain their lethargic play in Vancouver? I hope the Bruins win but it will likely be 1-0 Vancouver. Again.
Boston has played the same way all series.
The games in Boston have been blowouts because Vancouver hasn't shown up on the road. At home Vancouver has actually played hard.
At the end of the day, Vancouver has more talent then Boston, but without effort, it's only natural that they'd get blown out.
I don't think Boston has done anything differently at home than on the road.
I still think Vancouver will win game 7, and it's a shame because Luongo has played like s*** in these playoffs. Has any goalie ever looked worse at so many points in the playoffs and still won the Cup?
Overrated goalie who hasn't handled any kind of road pressure in this series and has been the recipient of numerous blowouts in the playoffs.
Lebron is probably watching Luongo and laughing his ass off right now.
