Saw Howie consoling Kronwall afterwards ... nice gesture.

Well that's heart breaking.... :(

I don't care what anyone says, you will always be the best defenseman ever. No one else has been able to play so well for so long. You managed to make the opposition look foolish night in and night out with ease. Thank you for being such an amazing player and outstanding role model. Personally have tried to emulate your leadership, class, humility, and poise. I've even asked myself WWND? I know I speak for all of Hockeytown when I say we love you very much and will greatly miss you. Some called you The Perfect Human, others called you Lidstrom, but to me you'll always just be Nick. Thank you for making the Red Wings the best organization there is. May God bless you and your family in the future.

P.S. You are not allowed to go back to Sweden until I have met you.

One thing to be said about Sammy was he was never afraid to shoot the puck, that's for sure.

I never totally understood the Sammy hate either. For all his logo hunting and shinguard assassinations he was pretty solid maybe even clutch. I just always liked him. :P

#2276427 Operation Eaves

I know there's been a lot of chatter here about how Eaves is doing. Since he won't be back the rest of the season some blogs/sites are having readers comment wishing him well and sending them to him.

I thought you were like in your 30's.

For some reason I assume everyone is in their late 20's early 30's and looks like their avatar. :P

And now you're finally old enough for us to legally hit on you. :D

Uh thanks, I think...wait a minute "finally" implies anticipation...

Loo that was so thoughtful of Fil to score for you!! You two are so cute! You're gonna have to find him next time they're in Nashville because you just might be good luck! :P

Ok so I don't usually post pictures of myself, but I decided I would because this was the one time I actually felt pretty, then my brothers said I had too much makeup on so IDK. <_< This was at my friend's New Years Eve party where we had a James Bond theme! I'm the brunette.

Kinda funny. Nick's a better actor than Draper and Ozzie that's for sure. :P Too bad he was paired with Perry.

Don't know if this has been posted but it's a link to a site for bracelets. The proceeds go to the families of the victims. I'm thinking of getting a $10 one.

I can't stop crying...I'm just speechless.

Makes you realize that these aren't just defense coaches or 6th D-men, or All-star forwards. They're people. Too often we look at bad coaching or a bad shift and don't see that they're people playing a sport...it's just a sport. Just a game that doesn't matter. What matters is life, and it is a fragile thing. Lord, be with their families.

I thought Nick was a Swede. What's he doing looking like a Spartan from 300?
