He had 97 PIM this season, 100 in the season before, and 131 in the season before that.

He had 21 minor penalties and 9 fighting (assuming) majors. That information was a few clicks away from seeing how many PIM he had the past few seasons.

I wouldn't mind resigning Hudler for another 2 years. You know who has scored the third most goals of UFAs this summer? Hudler. So long as it doesn't stop us from signing Parise, and, if Holland gets extreme, trading for another top 6 forward.

Wrong and wrong. The problem is not Datsyuk and Zetterberg. While you can make an argument that datsyuk is more predictable than he was previously, you cannot say that he declined his skill. He had a great injury and quite frankly noone knows that he has recovered fully from that incident. Same as to zetterberg, I think overall the Wings have just become too predicable and it hurts us in the long run. Look at our powerplay, otherwise. Babcock went out to find new coaches for a new style because things weren't working, well quite frankly... we probably won't see their potential until a year or two in the NHL.

I'm not saying the problem is Datsyuk and Zetterberg, I'm just saying there is no denying that they're not the beasts of 07, 08 and 09. Look at how many shots Datsyuk misses. He's still a great player, I'm jsut saying our offense is not nearly as good as it used to be.

Of the forwards not named Datsyuk and Zetterberg, he's be our best (or least mediocre). He's always strong on the puck, battling and play hard. He's not getting on the score board but that isn't to say he's playing bad. Now he isn't playing great either, but who on the team is? He's still playing a hell of a lot better than Hudler, Bertuzzi, Cleary and Franzen.

.There are more than a few guys in the league who could have done what Franzen did at the end of the game.  No one else could have done what Datsyuk did.  No one.

His two goals weren't the result of him playing great, it was a result of Pavel Datsyuk. That said, he did seem to have a better game than usual. Hopefully he can have success in the playoffs.
