The Wings are now destined to miss the playoffs because Howard is a new father? Just when you think you've heard of everything.
The problem with your question is that at the moment there are no unsigned goalies left on the market that are better than Howard, with or without sleep. So the only option to make your wish come true is a trade. While we've got plenty of cap space, we're already at the roster limit, so we'd have to either waive a player if trading only picks/prospects, or make a player-for-player trade. Who exactly off of this roster would you send away? (And dont say Howard. If he's going to be terrible because of lack of sleep, then no team in the league will want to trade their solid goalie for a "sleepy" goalie).
No, no, no. Not only is Howard a new father, but apparently Conklin is IMPOTENT! We're doomed!

Him and Nyquist were probably the two most impressive players that I noticed at camp. And it's really a no-loss situation. If he plays great then the Wings got a great deal and if he tanks then waive him and ship him off to GR or let someone else deal with him if they want to claim him.

I don't think Brendan's intent was to hit him in the head, Ben just tried to slip by him and he happened to catch him. This being said I still believe Smith gets suspended. The hit was dangerous, and Smith is a low impact guy that can be suspended to set an example to other players. I would also guess that getting suspended will all but end Smith's chances of making the Wings' roster this year, barring injury, unless he really comes back flying to start the year.

Never saw any links from you, but I will be looking this time. I was really pissed that I was settling on the flyers broadcasting it and then them locking me out geographically. I tried every link I could find and got zilcho.
A password pm would be appreciated.
According to the Flyers the webcast is limited geographically due to NHL policy.. Which is completely stupid imo, why wouldn't you want to make hockey available to everyone who wants to see it if you're trying to grow the sport.

Yeah i agree.just break the guys neck and move on Moore was only a fourth line player so that makes him expendable.I hope Moore wins his settlement,i would be one happy guy
I think you missed his point there. The point wasn't that Moore was expendable, the point is that he almost certainly wouldn't have made 38 million dollars as a player.
So when you say you would be happy if Moore won, do you mean if he is awarded the full 40 million? You really believe Bertuzzi should be paying out of his own pocket for likely the rest of his life for a one time lapse of judgement in a heated situation after already serving his original punishment?

I don't see why we would need Brunnstrom for that. It's a pretty widely accepted fact around LGW that if Hudler were to play on Datsyuk's wing for the entire season he would also put up 35 goals.

Yup, I sat through the Amway presentation once because I didn't know what was coming. My roommate's parents had gotten her into it and she had to bring in so many new prospects according to the "system" or she wasn't following it. I said I'd give it a listen, just to help her out. Freaky.
I'm really not keen on the Red Wings being associated with them, but I guess everyone needs a cash cow.
Now if they can get 5 other teams to agree to the branding, and those teams get 5 teams...
So.. what you're saying is.. we're all going to be rich!
I feel like Hudler could probably put up about 70 points playing with Datsyuk on the 1st line..
Just kidding.
I have to think Holmstrom will get some first line minutes barring any moves before the season. But I could see it ending up being a rotation for most of the season unless someone really steps up and fills the role.
