I look at a game day thread as if we are all at the game together and watching it live.  We don't "discuss" the game we cheer, we *****, we whine, just as if we were actually at the game.

I'm sorry to all the left leaning folks on this board...but I'm sick andf****** tired of the pussification of this game.  

 

NBC can just go and fail as a TV network.  

 

Let's start showing hockey on A&E, at least they show folks shooting guns, fighting alligators and beavers and peeling the skin off of small furry creatures.

 

Or better yet...the History Channel...they have a show that is 100% sword and axe fighting Scandinavians.

My prediction:

Hawks jump out to a 2-0 lead in first 8 minutes and the cries from LGR ring out "BLOW IT UP KENNY, this team sucks, rebuilding time".

Wings come back and win it 4-3 in OT followed by the yells from LGR " I LOVE THIS TEAM, knew theyd come back, great game, Dats is king, get clearly of Dats line!"

Well hockey fans we hope you are enjoying this historic evening pitting the powerhouse Nashville Predators against the expansion Detroit Red Wings in their 1st ever NHL game.  Don't forget to pick up your free souvinir puck on your way out of this storied building.

Pavel Datsyuk is having an unbelievable period of hockey. If you can get Cleary a goal, things are really going well.
