How fitting that Staples' slogan is "that was easy".

#2304999 Tim Thomas.

Dang, my guesses on the 3 F's that he wanted to reconnect with were fanaticism, fear mongering, and Fox News.

The only positive of bringing back Holmstrom is that my Red Wing lineup in my Sega Genesis games will remain somewhat relevant.

97 was such an amazing year. This game, the Cup, and nWo running wild in wrestling.

I don't think it's a big deal. I'm so sick of hearing about honour and the "code" in hockey. It's just a sport, don't get why people try to make into something bigger and more meaningful.

#2228449 Crosby coming back

Oh man, can't wait for the BIG return tonight. Devils coach Peter DeBoer returning to Florida to face his former team!!!

#2206419 Crosby's 2012 Season now in Question

Maybe it's to announce that it has been discovered that Crosby was taking banned substances and the 2009 Cup victory is null and void.

#2199664 Thank You Chris Osgood!

I felt a range of emotions concerning Osgood throughout his career; joy, anger, sadness,hope-he was the hockey equivalent of the women I've known in my life.

#2197590 This is why Commodore was the best signing ever...

MalikReport: Note To Commodore: Don't Do It http://dlvr.it/ZZfSw

I wish they'd get off their high-horse and let the fans and player have some fun with this. Some people are a little too serious.

That article totally misses the point. Entertainment is an integral part of sports. That's why there's music during the game, fireworks, slogans(Hockeytown), etc. Commodore wearing #64 is just plain fun-is that so wrong? This writer seems to think that wearing a Wings sweater is the hockey equivalent of having dinner with Queen Elizabeth.

I think my friend still has a Commodore 64-I'm going to bring it to the game when the Wings come to MTL and throw it onto the ice if Commodore scores.

#2194260 Wings sign D Mike Commodore to 1-year, $1m contract

This is a GREAT signing if he ends up wearing #64.

#2188603 Bettman Re-Alignment Proposal

Posted by Manoir on 23 June 2011 - 08:27 PM

I think NO divisions and just a straight 1-30 seeding is the way to go. Every team gets an equal amount of travel and it protects against teams moving and throwing the conferences out of whack (if PHX moves to Quebec city for example). Playoffs would be top 16 which would not guarantee that the Eastern teams would not have to travel as much. The only issue would be to protect rivalries, but most of those are geaographically based anyways so you'd adopt a formula where a team plays another team that is within a certain amount of miles away x number of times.

I think the people in Vancouver are rioting because their CFL football team won their preseason game.

Boston needs one of those hypnosis guys to make the team believe that game 7 is in Boston.

Luongo may not have meant to take a jab at Thomas, but H.Sedin sure took one at Milbury.

"By all means, stay on Thelma and Louise, I mean Henrik and Daniel," said Milbury, referring to the characters in the movie of the same name starring Susan Sarandon and Gina Davis.

Henrik Sedin heard about it from his son.

"That wasn’t too much fun," he said following last night’s 1-0 Canucks victory over the Bruins in Game 5. "My son told me a man was making fun of me and Uncle Danny on TV. I said that can't be true because that's what usually happens in kindergarten. That's what happened. Sometimes grown-ups have low self-esteem and get on guys and say stupid stuff.

"I think he has to be happy with his career," Henrik added. "He did a great job on Long Island. I'm sure he is happy with that."

Zing.
