Shouldn't really be all that shocking. Seems that hometown hockey broadcasts are about as "homer" as it gets. I swear the Bruins' broadcasters might have even been defending McSorley on the night he nearly hacked Brashear's face off. Just sickening.

Mike Babcock, on what the Wings can learn from the Rangers: "They funnel a lot of pucks to the net, they just throw it blindly. I think we can learn a lot from New York and the fact that we had talked to our guys about getting pucks to the paint all the time and the confusion it creates. We should be doing the same thing. OK, they've (the VS guys) have spent the entire post game thus far analyzing the Rangers' woes. If they had won the game, do you think they would be analyzing the Red Wings woes? No, I don't think so either.
Well, I mean, the media is supposed to showcase teams and the Wings don't really need that much promotion or exposure.
