The only logical explanation I can come up with, is that they are showing these guys off as trade bait. Perhaps making room for Helm as well, but Cleary/Abdelkader/Eaves/Miller haven't been pulling they're contract weight. I would bench them or put them on waivers before sending Tatar down.
Shocking really, I hope this is the aberration year we have to deal with and things get back to normal. Cause next year, we'll be in the East facing stiffer competition and this team isn't going to cut it.
All I've heard is excuses to why what WE tell you won't work.
So your in the opinion we should rebuild because you heard through "sources" that Datsyuk is leaving for the KHL eventually. Also that YOU think a bunch of our AHL guys are career AHLers and they won't sniff the NHL? Which quite a few of them have seen time in it and some are still too young to get the call up.
So we should rebuild because your right and we're wrong? Nani-Nani-boo-boo? Stick your head in doo-doo?
Oh no! A guy that helped win the Stanley Cup in 08'!!! You guys freak out too much. Do I love this signing? Not really, do I like it? Sure. Money is a little rough but you know he isn't any worse than HUDLER. So welcome back Mikael, good luck.
The way I look at this is that Columbus' GM doesn't understand how to be a hockey GM. He is apparently asking OUTRAGEOUS demands for Nash. They need the cap space and to build around somebody else. Also they need to get multiple pieces and asking for a major player or two for Nash alone is not going to happen. I'll laugh if they don't trade him and he hits free agency and goes somewhere else, then they get nothing for him. LOL.
