I hope the Kings lose. I hate that team.

Preds in 6, I hope.

#2284087 I guarantee we win this series

I think Wings will prevail in round 1. But I predict another round 2 exit this year.

#2248899 Time for my Cleary update.

I wouldn't mind trading Cleary. He is not worth 2.8 million a year.

#2243780 Marchand Suspended 5 games

Marchand is a dirty player and a chicken little. It's a good thing that he was suspended.

#2240140 Kopecky Suckerpunches Del Zotto

Kopecky sucks.

#2239500 What this team needs!

Posted by Reds4Life on 28 December 2011 - 10:49 AM

I strongley disagree that Franzen can consistenly score goals.

Yeah, Mule is the ultimate streaky guy. He scores 5 goals in 3 games and then disappears for a couple of weeks.

#2225507 GMs to discuss the 1-3-1 forecheck

Posted by Reds4Life on 15 November 2011 - 12:16 PM

There's no problem in traps. They can be beat and everyone can use them. The problem was Flyers not trying to attack. It's the responsibility of the team who has the puck to keep the game going, try to score. Other team tries to prevent the scoring.

Other team doesn't have to try to take the puck back. Most important priority is to prevent scoring, not to take the puck back. So don't gimme that argument, ok?

#2225049 11/11 GDT: Oilers 0 at Red Wings 3

I'd like to see our third pairing be Helm, Abdelkader and Eaves, with a fourth line of Brunnstrom, Miller and Emmerton.

Hudler doesn't fit in.

Hudler Helm Abdelkader has been our second best line in the last few games. Thanks to Hudler, that line is semi-dangerous offensively. If you removed Hudler, it would make the line worse.

#2225048 Will Stuart re-sign?

Posted by Reds4Life on 13 November 2011 - 08:40 AM

Stuart is solid defenseman, it would be good to have him for a few more years (as long as he does not want more money).

#2224819 What's up with Datsyuk

Posted by Reds4Life on 12 November 2011 - 02:42 PM

Right now, I would say that's fairly obvious. As a general statement though, I disagree. Cleary is streaky like Franzen, but he was still second on the team in goals last year. I have said in other threads I would prefer Filppula on Datsyuk's wing -- at least until Cleary gets healthy -- because I do think that is affecting Cleary quite a bit so far.

Cleary has 141 goals in 760 NHL games (100 goals in 431 games as a Red Wing), which makes him a poor goalscorer. He is not a good top6 player. Datsyuk deserves to play with better wingers. Simple as that.

#2224805 What's up with Datsyuk

Posted by Reds4Life on 12 November 2011 - 01:02 PM

Datsyuk has no wingers to play with.
Cleary has very poor goalscoring ability and Homer is good only on PP.
We could really use better wingers.

#2207731 Everyone has rejoined the team for skating...except one player...

Posted by Reds4Life on 15 September 2011 - 08:37 AM

Which means he get 80 points this year, then Holland will re-sign him for $5M+ and then Hudler will return to "Form" next season and he will be a $5M 30 point player...

I can only hope he is on pace for 80 and is traded at the deadline for something the team can use to complete this quest for another Cup...or he only gets about 20 points (and nobody wants him at the deadline) and Holland re-signs him for what he is worth $500,000 or just lets him walk.

So Wings couldn't use a PPG player in the playoffs?

You didn't really thought it through, did you?

#2194989 Chicago signs Carcillo $775K

Posted by Reds4Life on 02 July 2011 - 03:48 AM

He's a diver, waste of roster spot and a head-case. Yay for the Hawks. Even the Flyers said goodbye to that *******.
