just got home, what a fun game! And actually, I know everyone here's bitching about the meltdown at the end but everyone at the arena was pretty much laughing about it. We saw one section of wings fan jumping up and down like the Wings scored when the kings did and even the Kings fans were having fun with it and joking around. I haven't had that much fun at a hockey game in a long time.

I just went out from california for a game and stayed at the westin book cadillac. It was very nice and very classy. The room service food was really good as well and they had a free fitness center which was really nice.

Option 1: Acquire high end goalie and have him play for you on the cheap, hopefully leading your team to the longshot playoff spot you have when you first acquired him.
Option 2: Acquire rights to said high end goalie, have him NOT report, toll his contract and trade him off for other solid assets in the summer.
Option 3: Don't bother improving your team.
Nabokov not reporting is comparable to someone you work with deciding they don't want to work at that location anymore, and just not showing up for work until they get a transfer or a new job.
yeah if said person wasn't working the whole year and then decided to sign a contract to work with another company, but by some other circumstance he was told he had to work for a company he never had any intentions of working for.

Not surprised at much of it..though I would have though for smartest player, Lids may have been at the top. That's one of the main things you always hear about him.

on LeBrun's twitter, he said he thinks the wings most likely asked the league to not pick zetterberg...and people are complaining datsyuk isn't there? if the league is picking the remaining players, why would they pick someone who most likely won't be able to play? Who really cares? all star games haven't been fun since the 90's.

I'm not concerned abou this game, we'll take it. Datsyuk looks like he's gonna break it wide open eventually. He can skate in and out of these goons like it's nothing.

I think bert plays like he weighs 350 pounds, the guy is unbelievably slow out there. Though, flip, hank and cleary aren't what you would call impressive either,
