No that's just wrong. Eaves was one of our better forwards and had some good scoring chances as did miller, Andersson, Tatar and Nyquist. I think our top line had one or two good scoring chances both by Alfie from a Datsyuk pass
I thought Jurco's pass to Pavs, that Pavs ended up not being able to put away on an empty net was one of the best chances in the game. You left that one out.
When an opponent of the Wings s*** the bed against us, there is always someone who posts a link to their forum laughing at the doomsday posts they find over there. Do these people not take the time to read their forums during an embarrassing loss? It is the exact same thing. Yet these same people will continue to laugh at other fans after a rough loss as if we are so much better than everyone else.
It's part of sports and thats what being a fan means. None of us want to watch our team lose, yet we get an enjoyment watching our team beat other teams. Show me one fan base of any sport that is okay with their team losing. Even bad teams that are expected to lose, fans are not okay with it.
God I hate it, hockeyplayers are normally the classiest teamsport athletes but I guess some bad apples have to be there Hopefully this criminal idiot will never see the NHL ice again.
Trying to understand this comment, but I just can't. Why are we calling this guy a "criminal idiot" when we don't even know if he's guilty yet? He may or may not have done something, but all we know so far is he turned himself in. If I was accused of something and the cops were looking for me, I too would turn myself in just so we can get everything sorted out, NOT because it means I'm guilty.
Sucks that a guy can do something like that at the end of a losing game and get a 2 minute penalty with 18 seconds left. Pretty much goes unpenalized, even if the Wings score, its not like they were coming back. Other actions should be taken against things like that.
well so far it seems im right about that turning in my gut that said it wasn't happening tonight
Dude, stop being so negative. If you feel we're going to lose tonight, keep it to yourself. Some of us came on here tonight to watch the game and enjoy ourselves, not read over and over how you know we're going to lose before the puck even drops.
