#2666580 25 YEARS BABY!

Posted by kliq on 09 April 2016 - 03:30 PM

I'm happy about 25 years, but we didn't deserve it after these last few...I guess the hockey gods were on our side.

At the end of the day, the playoffs are based on a record though 82 games. In 82 games, we won enough to earn a playoff spot.

Am I happy about the last two games...no. But, the season is not a 3 game season.

I just hope the Wings that come out in the playoffs are the same team I watched shutout Philly earlier in the week.

#2509438 Poll: Who was the Wings regular season MVP

Posted by LAWings on 13 April 2014 - 07:54 PM

It's a 4 way tie for me between Bertuzzi, Cleary, Samuelsson, Weiss... without them we would never have seen Tatar, Nyquist, Sheahan, Jurco.

Thank you gents for sucking so bad.

#2314037 Suter Watch: Decision today, down to Wings/Wild

I haven't watched a TON of Parise, but from what I saw he looked very good but not worth $7-8 million good. I'd rather get Doan for $4.5 and then roll out what we have and wait for the deadline.

No, we don't. If members don't deem a thread discussion-worthy it will move down the list due to those topics that are. There's no point in having one massive thread that's discussing 20 signings and is scattershot throughout where sifting through pages of posts to find what you want to comment on becomes painstaking.

Events like this only happen this week and on deadline day. No mega-threads.

#2313284 Parise Watch [update x2]: Red Wings OUT of Running

The longer it takes them to decide, the more I believe they want to go to the same team, or just resign.

Agreed, or Suter is just waiting for Parise to make a choice so he can decide if he could see himself playing there or not. I still think he comes here, maybe I have to think that for my sanity.

The NHL cannot suffer another lockout.
