Buffalo media going HARD at Babcock hard during this presser.

Essentially calling him a liar who had committed to the Sabres and only used the negotiations as leverage to up the Toronto deal.

He didn't take too kindly to being called a "liar."

What's done is done. Buffalo still has a bright future and just needs to move on from this. As long as their front office doesn't screw it up they will be fine.

No thanks on Wiz. Overpaid and takes places off. That was one of the biggest complaints from Jackets fans down here in Columbus.

They can have it back if they give us Phaneuf. I'm quite sure Ken Holland and Blashill would agree. ;)

I thoughts too! If that deal gets done they will have that pick back.

Maybe we can start signing players since we've been getting screwed the past couple of seasons.

That's what I have been thinking since the news broke!

No hard feelings towards Babs or Toronto for that matter. I honestly think things just got too stale with him here and both the organization and him needed a change. Mr. I didn't low ball him at all and he left for more money. Best of luck to him but I really think this was a move that had to happen.

In Topic: 'District Detroit': Red Wings' New Arena Details Released

Next bring the Pistons to downtown. Double the revenue at the arena. I don't get the negative attitudes towards this project. You could put a 24/7 hot dog stand and it's an upgrade to that area. I give Mr I credit for this project and wanting to keep the money in Detroit. You want the city to recover and improve this is the kind of project that can help. It's not the answers for all the cities' problems but it's a start. I will miss the Joe but this was long over due. I live in Columbus and I love going to an arena like Nationwide. Classy facility and great fan experience.
