I still feel like Roy is a month or 2 of adversity from completely having a meltdown and never recovering. He should enjoy his success while he can, I predict he goes down in wave of flames like he has done before...
It's a bed of roses now. Just wait when the team doesn't perform to his liking and he has a melt down. The locker room will turn on him. Happened to Hitchcock @ Cbus.
I think our 3rd and 4th lines will provide a spark for us. But with Z out Franzen has to step up. I don't like the way our D matches up but if these kids gain confidence early I like our chances. I am going to say Wings in 7.
Last week I watched a very good documentary. Everyone should check it out. It's call Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. It's about going on a juice fast for 61 days. I haven't started the fasting but the guy who was on the film weighed in at 305 and lost up to 79 lbs in 61 days just by drinking juice. I started to try some of the stuff he had on the film and it's pretty good!
I cheer for other teams when Detroit is out of it. But I still find it very hard to cheer for another team. I live in Columbus and I want to see this city get a good team on the ice but I still have a hell of a time cheering for them ever.
I think some people overreact about going to the east. We have done very well against teams in the east over the last 15 seasons. Boston will play us tough but I think we will still hold our own. By no means we will cake walk to the conference finals but I don't expect to be pushed around. I like the current roster going into next season. I wouldn't mind adding a defenseman but I don't see any reason going after some knuckle head who will run up penalty minutes.
