Shut up Calgary, everyone knows your the s*** hole of the universe, the crime and `protection` is not a joke. As for the Lowe comments, I was listening too the interview live on Edmontons Team 1260. The way the media quoted him was really unfair. He was using it in a postive context. And Lowe has praised Ken Holland and the Wings many times.

I really dont see any reason to be upset. Pen fans should have known, just like everyone else aound the leauge knew that he was nothing but a "rental" player in their charge for the cup. Everyone knew from the day he signed there that there would be little to no chance Pit. would be able to fit him in the next season salary cap. Its nothing like the pronger issue where he signed a long term deal and bailed after one season. And like everyone else has said, he was a "Free Agent" he has every right to go to any team he'd like too.

And they thought Edmonton was"bad" in '06...

For all of us above the 49th, CBC says it will be joining the Wings game in progress, so expect to miss a third of the game or so. Im lookin for it on centre ice and all my channels say off air. As for why TSN isnt showing it is a joke, I check their Alt. feed and its also off air. Im searching hard on my sat. but so far no dice. Im gettin pretty pissed off with the coverage up here... lookin like im s*** outta luck So why is CBC taking a game that TSN would usually broadcast and join it in progress so we cant see the whole game, from what I can see TSN has the time to show it start from finish, if not then at least they have the Alternate channel. I hate CBCs programing!!!!!!!!!!!! makes no sense at all! Also it looks like CBC is carrying the game on friday too..which is weird imo. since when does cbc show non Cdn. teams? And not to mention brutal broadcasting(PJ Stock is a huge plug), Im hoping TSN will get it.

Try walking Whyte Ave.(Blue Mile) in edmonton during the first round in 06... you all saw went on there, craziness. And trying to get into a few sports bars along the road, and gettin turned around a the door with the whole bar screaming at you. Or just everytime I wear it in public around here!

Mac hasnt been playing tough at all, I like the guy but its hard to play tough when you can barley keep up with the play. As for Hartigan he kinda reminds me of Bert just without the skill(that he used to have).

I wouldnt say he's "invisible", he's clearly been involved in some really good scoring chances. He just seems to be over thinking an extra second before making his move. Just needs to shake the nerves out and maybe see the ice alittle more on the PP to get some confidence!

Wow I really have t make the trip down, here in Edmonton the cheapest playoff ticket you'll ever find is between $90 and $120 and some people pay thousands for tickets, but good luck finding any, and parking is $12-$20.

Being from Edmonton I was totally surprised when I logged into ticketmaster to check out some tickets for saturdays game and found that there were tickets left! Not just any tickets, 5th row, and for only 160$ each! Whats with that? When the Wings were in Edmonton a few years ago for the first round, every ticket was sold out within 10 min. and people were paying thousands for them. I am just totally shocked and I might even make the trip to come see a game or two

I've been searching all over for a show called "The Season" with the Wings. I've seen the Avs one but never the Wings. It s from a few years ago I think. Anyone have any idea where a guy could see it?
