I don't, it's just too sweet for my taste.

The person below me had pizza tonight.

#2016675 Osgood may retire following this season

Shortly after Osgood got sick, he started in a game against Nashville, and won 3-2.

Who was in net THE NEXT THREE GAMES after that win? Do you honestly think Osgood was given much of a chance at that point?

That was my point, he wasn't given a chance to prove himself when he did not get consecutive starts. I understand they wanted to go with the hot goalie because of the position we were in, but Babcock is very lucky that Howard didn't have an injury late in the season because we didn't have a reliable back up goalie to go to and that was not Osgood's fault. He could only do what he could at practice, it's not the same as playing in games.

What does his relationship with babcock have to do with him having a GAA over 3 for last season?

Because Babcock refused to play him which prevented him from getting that playing time to improve his numbers. He didn't have a chance to prove himself because he'd only get a game here or there, even when he got a win, the next game went to Howard.

It's good to hear we've got someone just about ready to come up, hopefully he'll work hard and make it.

As for Ozzie, it doesn't surprise me he plans on retiring. I just hope that Babcock treats him better this season and actually lets him play in some more games. I think he wants to stick around here after he retires so maybe he'll help mentor the young guys.

I miss him too, he was a great player. I remember how angry I was when I found out about that stupid limo driver, still am because he's probably out there doing whatever he wants and Vladdy is not the person he was back then.

I get emotional every time they show him at a game, it's so good to see how well he is doing.

It's the one where Izzy and George both die.

That's how they get you to keep watching, there always has to be something major at the end of the season. I didn't get into Grey's when it first came out, but now that I've been hooked for a while I still like it. The characters have changed quite a bit.

#1977623 Don't blame Howard.. blame Babcock

I completely agree with this in the goalie side of things. Babcock has made the team totally dependent on Howard the entire season, he pretty much refused to give Osgood a chance to play, one game here or there is no way to prove yourself. What would have happened if Howard was hurt and unable to play late in the season? They'd put Ozzie in and hope for the best but blame him if we didn't make the playoffs. I know that Osgood is doing a great job mentoring Howard and I'm sure it's appreciated, both of them know how important he is in that process. He's dealt with a lot of criticism and adversity over the years but doesn't let that shake him.

Yes this is a team sport so the entire team is responsible for the terrible play of late, so we don't really know what would have happen if Ozzie was given more chances to play during the season. What's done is done for this season. It will be interesting to see what happens next season, I don't think Osgood wants to leave Detroit, but if he's not going to be played he deserves better than a season of watching the games from the locker room. I sure hope that he and Babcock can resolve whatever issues they are having with each other because this seem like it's more than just poor play. Osgood was never give a real chance to prove himself this season.

Work is overrated, you work hard all week. But since you want to talk yourself into it, you do nothing but work around the house this weekend. No stopping to sleep or eat, but your place is immaculate, your yard is all trimmed and looks great with all those new plants and flowers. Stevie is most appreciative that you cleaned him inside and out, even waxed too. By the time it's time to go back to work you are so exhausted that you can barely move.

I wish I were better able to help my friends in need that are too far away for me to see.

I call him Crosby the Colon, because he's full of ... well, you know. <_<

Funny graphic. I think I will refrain from sending that to the lawyer in Houston who is supposed to be sending me paperwork so I can get a small settlement from a lawsuit. He has a signed huge photo on his office wall of the Pens (which the whole team signed) and one with him and Crybaby, touching the Cup.

If he doesn't get you the settlement you want, send to him when everything is done. :P Good luck with whatever you have going on.

I don't know where this would go, since it's not Coyotes I couldn't put it in the photoshop wars. Anyway, this was in an email I got today, love it. :)Posted Image

Yeah! I'm so glad that he'll be playing in a game or 2 before the end of the season. :yowza:

Glad this wasn't posted yesterday because everyone would have figured it wasn't true.

I found his blog in Swedish and have been reading it with the google translator. I'm glad he decided to to it in English too. I don't really care about the typing, it's nice of him to do the translation for us instead of having the funky translation from those translators. It's nice to have the players perspective on things, will have to catch up as I have been missing out on checking it lately.

Neither, not a fan of really sweet things and they both seem sweet.

The person below me needs a hug. I'll give you one anyway cause I need one.
