This is my wild dream based on some flimsy contract proposals floating around the web.
Don't think it would happen, but it would make me the most happy, and three right handers added is a good thing.

The guy is bad in interviews, and seems to have a nagging condition which doesn't appear to get better when he is put on the spot.
I'll agree the guy isn't a great PR commissioner, but at the same time what has he said (other than little things that may piss off a few fans) that has been a PR nightmare?
With the way people react I doubt even a guy with smooth talking could satisfy the fans of the NHL.
I disagree. The vast majority of people tend to care more about how well someone can dress up a pig than whether or not a product is a pig. Plenty of substantiated research behind that (used in sales and marketing departments the world over).
Not sure I can trust the journalistic quality of a publication hiring writers that confuse that term. People on message boards are one things. Paid writers are another matter.
And only a spoiled little f*** on a message board would send off players who have actually contributed to cup wins by this franchise (and been kind and gracious human beings all the while) in such a manner.
Bunch o' ragey stuff... burn baby burn, disco inferno...
Contrary to what you seem to think, the problem is not really your ideas or content. By and large there's little different from what the majority of people here agree/disagree with.
It has more to do with the fact that you create thread after thread of things that are of a similar vein, thread-wise, to numerous other threads that are already out there (for example, why couldn't this go in the off season changes thread?). It's as if you don't want to be seen as inanely repetitive, so you don't post similar things over and over in the same thread. Instead, you... well, I'll let you figure the rest of that out.
Me, I don't really care. I find it somewhat amusing in a sideshow sort of way.
Also, the culture here tends to be full of sarcasm and cynicism. Happiness and togetherness is not enforced here. LGW definitely isn't a place to come to get a pat on the back... on the other hand, if you want to discuss and particularly debate hockey, it's a great place. We love our arguments here. Do people take it over the line? Absolutely. But it tends to be the same people over and over, and veteran posters generally know who they are and to begin ignoring them immediately.
