A crappy way to go out, for sure. Despite that, though, this team was a great time. Like GoWings said, it was a close series that could have easily been 3-2 Tigers headed back to Texas. I'm not ashamed to say that the Tigers lost to the best team in the American League and I'm proud of them for getting where they did.

Let the off-season begin. Illitch is talking about big free agent signings and the Tigers have some obvious holes to fill, but are still in a really good spot to do it all again next year.

Yea, a great season despite the disappointing end. If you told me at the beginining of the season we would have made it to game 6 in the ALCS I would have been super happy with that. That means we did a lot of good things to get there and we did.

Illitch has said he is looking to add another big bat during the off season. I have no idea who that could be but my guess is maybe a 2nd or 3rd baseman. That's about the only hole we need to fill once Boesch comes back and now that we have Young. We'll see though, it was a good season none the less. Now time for the Lions and Wings to give this city something to cheer about.

I am so pumped for this game. I'm also pretty nervous but I will still enjoy this game win or lose like I have all year. It's been a great season. I'm not ready to stop watching baseball just yet so hopefully the Tigers cam pull a win out here somehow and force a game 7.

Scherzer has got to keep the ball down or else the Rangers are going to smack him all over that park. If he does that, our hitters will put up their share of runs. Let's do this.

I'm 3-0 watching the Red Wings play in person, looking to go 4-0 tonight!

Red Wings- 5
Wild- 2

Also.. hoping to see LOTS of Red Wings fans here tonight at the game. Should be a great one. I'm excited!! :)

I was maybe going to go to this game as well. I live in Michigan but my brother moved to Minneapolis half a year ago. I went to a Twins vs Tigers game out there in August when Verlander got his 20th win. It was great. Alas, I didn't make it out there this weekend but I may come out for the game on the 25th I believe it is?

Tonight's forward lines:

Eaves and Brunnstrom out.

This is different from the OP lines. (Eaves in for Homer) but if these are correct, I find it odd that Eaves isn't playing on a regular basis. Even if they have had two pretty good games as a team. I'm also anxious to see when Brunnstrom gets his first regular season start as well. I hope it's on Saturday.

The TIgers, probably.

Yea that's definitely the reason. It's not every year these two teams play at the same time in October.

Anderson should have got that one but we'll take it. Lidstrom made enough of a move to fool him just the slightest. Good start for the Wings!

What a game these past two have been! We should be able to light up A.J. tomorrow but you never know in the post season.

I can't wait to see Fisters playoff debut tonight. AL pitcher of the month for September with a .53 era is unheard of. Hopefully the rain holds off and we can get this one going. Let's go Tigers!

Just found a proxy that makes you see the philly feed directly from their page.
Use with port 3128 don't have to look at a re-streamed video via justin. Should be a little better quality.

+1 just because I think your name and avatar are hilarious.

I have been watching the Tigers so I haven't watched any of this game. Who scored for the Wings?

This is probably the least anxious to start a season I have been in a while. One simple reason for that. Los Tigres. But as always, I can't wait to get hockey going again. 16 days til the meaningful stuff starts.

Nice quotes. Wonder what he will say when Nick passes him in Norris trophies.
