Dumbest. Decision. Ever. This is the Detroit Red Wings, not the Michigan Wolverines. The Winter Classic should be held in Detroit, not in an over-rated stadium that isn't even close to the Detroit city limits. I would rather the state of Michigan not have a Winter Classic than play it in a place other than Detroit. Hell, I'd rather Toronto host the WC than Ann Arbor. Hell, there's even an unused lot not far from Comerica that could be put to some use.

And I guess this puts to rest the idea that Illich supports the city of Detroit. This is a plain money grab by him. Period. He does not have Detroit's best interest at heart, or it would have been held at Comerica Park.

Detroit, once again, gets screwed out of a Winter Classic. f*** raw numbers, f*** the money, play the goddamn thing in Detroit or move it to Toronto. I certainly won't be watching it in 2013.

Ya, not home, can't stream locals without switching my setup, and NBC streams it....so a few reasons not bother with it.

just wanted to say again.. thank you for your contributions.  Drum has been streaming for years now so he is the streaming GOD around here. but you are pretty awesome yourself to stream red wings games for those that need it. again great job and keep up the good work. if i could i would stream red wings games for anyone that needed.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  As most know I don't really talk much about my steam online, it has been apart of the GDT here in the past along with RWC.  I offer up something a bit different being private and have a more reclusive site, but always glad to hear people enjoy it.

It would be wrong to penalize a team that doesn't want to play into the trap.  That's just giving other teams more reason to use the trap.

Both sides are equally wrong.  A team is just as much at fault for not forecheck pressuring as a team not advancing the puck.  There will have to be a rule change of some kind in the future to combat this.
