#2629130 October 2015 Schedule Wallpaper Now Available!

Posted by Matt on 09 October 2015 - 04:12 PM

It's back! Due to popular demand I'm bringing back the monthly LGW Schedule Wallpapers for download. I've limited the resolutions options a bit (6 for now), but I'm open to adding a few as well as long as the size is reasonably popular. Hope you guys like them! I plan on going back to the different-player-per-month lineup I've done in years past.

#2471447 Look who's top in GR scoring

I think there should be a rule about completely fabricating nicknames for players. I have no idea who Dirty Harry is, and it's annoying that I have to ask.

#2292449 Trade Zets /Dats and Franzen

It's time to go with the youth and get bigger and stronger. Bert,Homer and Lidstrom all need to retire. Hudler needs to go play in midget league.
Howard needs another goalie to push him for the starting job.

#2276364 Playoff seeding & Divison winners

Posted by b.shanafan14 on 01 April 2012 - 11:19 AM

Remove the automatic seeding of division winners. Period. Stupid rule.

You can have your division winner banner all you want, but being the best team in the worst division shouldn't automatically give you home ice over a better team, no matter what the logic is.

#2245377 1/14 GDT : Blackhawks 2 at Red Wings 3 (OT)

Posted by Konnan511 on 14 January 2012 - 12:17 AM

First game I ever went to was a Hawk vs Wing game. We lived in Chicago at the time and my Dad said, " the team in the Red and White is the team we are rooting for. See that 19, he's our boy. See that 91, he is magic. " I was 10 years old at the time. My Dads funeral is today so I will be missing the game, but I hope my Dad is on Gods good side and we come out with a regulation win. That's what he'd want. Go Wings!!!!!!!!

#2217795 I went to school with Abdelkader. Nice guy.

I live like a minute away from Osgood. Saw him taking out the trash once.

I saw that too.

#2210836 Brendan Smith suspended for 5 games

Posted by Konnan511 on 30 September 2011 - 10:54 AM

5 regular season games is what I figured. It could have gone anywhere up to 10 or so games and I would not have been too upset. I know Ben Smith was an idiot to toe drag at the last possible second, but hopefully next time Brendan puts himself in a better position where he wouldn't have to make a hit like that.

#2200922 Kris Draper announces retirement

Posted by gcom007 on 25 July 2011 - 02:21 PM

Hell of a career by Kris Draper. It'll be sad to see him go. Only one guy left from the 90's era now...sad off-season in many ways, but I'm excited for the future of this team. I'm also glad that we keep guys like Draper, Osgood, Maltby, etc. in the organization.

this offseason just gets better and better.

Congratulations on receiving the first negative I have ever bothered to give out.
