The only good thing ive got out of it was watching the tigers beat the snot out of the yankee's in the alcs....which was a great experience. P.s I REALLY like watching the yanks lose.

Tough to say, AK47 does have a reputation and for his goal production i don't know if it would be worth the risk. The only person that can motivate AK is himself, and it hasn't worked yet...I would most likely lean towards not making that offer.

I think JBo would be great on our team...but only if JF will trade him for something we can afford to lose.He's soft, but hockey sense I disagree with. He's very rarely out of posistion, has a good stick with size, good decision making, great passes, and probably one of the best skating defenseman in the league. He made Team Canada for a reason, Sutter(s) don't have a great track record of flourishing defenseman either.
There's no doubt he's soft, and overpaid. But he's still an above average stay at home, 10 goal, 20+ minute defenseman. The concern I have with bouwmeester is going to be what we'd have to give up, and frankly he's not worth anything close to what's being reported.

I have to believe at this point unless kenny is willing to go out and get his top 2 dman he needs(which will be at a high cost) that our team won't look like a team doan would be willing to gamble on before he makes his decision. Ether way i am looking forward to what the next months bring and i will have to practice patience.

The National Hockey League does not have a salary cap of any sort, but the existing NHL CBA contains clauses that limit the minimum compensation for all players and the maximum entry-level compensation for players under the age of 25. Article 9 of the NHL CBA limits the maximum yearly compensation for rookies to just over $1 million in salary and 50% of that in signing, reporting and roster bonuses. Performance bonuses are not affected. After a length of time determined by the age of the player when the first contract was signed (not exceeding three years) the limits come off. I hope this to do away with talks of paying a rookie 5mil a year...crazy.

The only reason he didnt stay a shark was because they needed to free up room for burns, with that being said white has been stuck on s***ty 'd' teams intill san jose where he did well. Thus i see no reason as to getting rid of him he has done well here and continue what he has done the last 2 years.
