#2428380 Wings Attempting to Re-sign Cleary

Posted by cnot19 on 07 July 2013 - 09:59 AM

Id prefer morrow, he's tougher and plays a bigger game. Plus I think he could be had for a year not three like cleary which is something I do not want

#2428377 Parros signs with Montreal

Posted by cnot19 on 07 July 2013 - 09:53 AM

Good for George he's one of if the best guy in the league. Does tons of charity work as well as being a major part of the nhlpa. I believe there is a place for him on any team.

#2404081 WCSF - (1) Chicago Blackhawks vs. (7) Detroit Red Wings

Best chance for the wings to win is to rattle Corey Crawford early and often. He's really not technically sound or overly athletic in net. Coyotes took the hawks down last year it can be done but it's an uphill climb

#2368947 Red Wings close to re-signing Howard

Posted by cnot19 on 14 March 2013 - 10:53 AM

I really dont want Howard resigned for anything more then 3 years. SImply clogs the line for Mrazek. I also think hes worth 5 million per season.

#2345826 New lines going into Friday (not speculation)

Thankfully the useless Emmerton gets the ax.

#2345771 Wings Looking For Defenseman

I would love a Franzen for Subban trade!

#2312037 Red Wings Sign Mikael Samuelsson to 2-yr, $6m deal (w/full NTC)

Posted by cnot19 on 01 July 2012 - 05:26 PM

Ughhhhhh god damnit no Prust? Add Samuelson? God help me I do t think Samuelson brings much, to me he brings absolutely 0 entertainment value would have preferred Prust parros someone who at least does one thing real well or gives it his all. Why did I get my hopes up?

#2311297 The Grass Is Always Greener - Johan Franzen

Posted by cnot19 on 29 June 2012 - 10:39 PM

Im not a franzen lover however I take him for what he is. He's never gonna be a hard working power forward like gezlaf and the like. The guy has a nice shot good stride and a nose for the net. I'm not a fan of his softness and wouldn't oppose a trade. For me franzen is what he hs and will never be what he's not.Sure there re harder working players and better options, but it looks like we're stuck with him. His contract is also bad

#2310625 Shane Doan to test free agency

Posted by cnot19 on 28 June 2012 - 12:11 AM

Doan would be a great addition to the wings, someone who can really bring the pain on the forecheck and just goes all out 24/7,

#2310285 Steve Ott - anyone interested in getting him?

Posted by cnot19 on 27 June 2012 - 12:12 AM

yes, yes, yes. Bring on both Ott and Prust!

#2302553 What's the point of the crease?

Posted by cnot19 on 22 May 2012 - 05:27 AM

The most important thing about the crease is that it tells goalies where they are in the net. It helps them with angles and how far they should come out to challenge the shooter.

#2296649 Toughness and Snipers

Add Parise, Konopka, and Prust

#2291865 What's Kenny Holland's Offseason Plan?

Posted by cnot19 on 17 April 2012 - 11:30 PM

Yes. We need a speed energy line with guys like Helm, eaves, and Abdelkader. Then a 4th line of grinders like Prust, and Konopka, etc. We need to be tough to play against again.

Not only do i think this would help us be a more complete team, but we wouldnt look dead when we lose. SOmetimes when the wings lose I am simply embarrassed and they should be too, real fourth line guys never quit and always bring 110%. Just from an entertainment standpoint it would be an upgrade, but adding to our fourth line would certainly round our team out.

#2291853 What's Kenny Holland's Offseason Plan?

Add a top line scorer, then increase the size and nastiness of the bottom six. guys like prust, martin neil. The bottom six needs an identity, something it does very well, not this mishmash of players who suck, and do nothing overly well. Please bring in guys who will hit the hell out people, grind along the boards, inflict some pain on the other team. Our fourth line has becaome a ground for spare parts, not the true fourth line guys who actually bring one great aspect to the table!
