Agreed, there's no room for him here, but the guy deserves a chance to play night in and night out in the NHL... good luck Meech! I don't know why, but I imagine him ending up in Philly... no rhyme or reason behind that, just a gut feeling...
I have no idea how they picked Satan over Hossa. And this comment is strange "by far the highest scoring player ever to wear number 81." by far? Really? He and Hossa actually have the same number of goals and Hossa actually has more points. Hossa has also played over 200 fewer games.
Hossa wore #18 in Ottawa, Atlanta & Pittsburgh though.
Kind of a difficult topic because Chelios is apparently the best to wear #24, but arguably spent his best years wearing #7 in Chicago.
You mean 6 plus Jeff Finger and a pylon... I mean, Brett Lebda
That's actually a pretty damn good top 5... I still can't believe they signed Lebda and for that price, one of the worst signings of the off-season and they will regret it BIG time when he's in the press box, eating up cap...
Don't underrate Gunnarsson. He was better than most of those guys last year at times. Steady and reliable. He's got that Swedish poise.
Bill Sweatt was very impressive in the NCAA with Colorado college, he's got fantastic speed and very good hands.
He was quite dynamic when I watched him, he might even be able to jump right into the line up.
Sounds like Stalberg, to be honest.
Stalberg has blazing speed, decent hands but wouldn't go into the corners. That was the kiss of death for him with Brian Burke. Stalberg plays too scared. Get got popped by Volchenkov early last season and never got his confidence back.
