Great day to be in Vancouver 

Great game by the young stars of NYI.  Cheering for you to upset the mighty Pens.  Just play free and loose ... MAF is melting down just like last year.  

Awesome!  Naming Datsyuk the best Russian player is a bit of an insult, he's far more than that, probably one of the best players all around.  

Feel bad for the people who paid to watch them at the Joe.  

Wait a minute, Prust insulted this other guy too!  

Two of Babcock's former assistant coaches are in the playoffs.  We have a pretty good culture of producing solid coaches.

I must say that I am impressed with what MacLean has done in Ottawa. I was pretty surprised even last year but this year ... wow.  He seriously deserves Jack Adams consideration for getting into the playoffs with their number of injuries. He must have implemented a solid system.  

He's a good coach!

From someone who is in Vancouver ... I hope the Canucks lose tonight.  And the series.

I got a good feeling about this one.  We will leave Anaheim with a split.

This feels almost like a game 7 of a series.  Pretty pumped, our boys showed that they can do it for the past 3 games.  Only X factor is a relatively 'new' goalie ... sometimes in their debut, they play lights out.  But if we pepper him with 35+ shots, we should pull out the win.  

I hope they pull the goalie if we're tied with a couple of minutes left, makes it easy for us to score the EN.  How about if we are winning by 3+ goals, we pull the goalie in the last 30 seconds to try to run the score on them to say screw you !

Actually, I'm cheering for Colorado to play spoiler.  Would love to see Minny get 9th and Columbus makes it in at 8th.  Seeing how they came out last night 'gainst Edmonton ...didn't think they could lose 2 in a row but it could be a very real possibility.  

Holland was the best GM in the mid 1990's to 2010 era.  He is a bit behind the 'best GM's' in the 2011 and beyond period.    

Sport's announcer"s keep saying game after game it seems that the wing's are struggling to find the back of the net. 

 

 We found the back of our own net just fine ... 2x.  

If we end up in 9th spot, I want Babcock to make the team watch this game's video in its entirety before letting them go for the season.  

You mean the competitive team that is giving the Wings a run for their money? Don't forget, the current BJ team was built almost entirely by Howson. I'm not saying the guy's a genius or anything, but maybe in retrospect, he's a better hockey mind than most were giving him credit for.

Really ??  They had Brobovsky a supposed Vezina candidate when Howson was around?  I don't remember that.  Isn't he like one of the major reasons why CBJ is in the race at all?  Didn't Howson fire Hitchcock who seems to be doing well in St. Louis?  Signed Wisniewski for $7m?  Rick Nash episode.  

I don't think he is the worst GM like Sather or Garth Snow but his name might be mentioned next in line.
